MFW8 FORUM: A GUIDE TO DISSECT YOUR SHORTS BY THE BEACH

We offer an opportunity to network and discuss your short film with filmmakers, educators, and short film programmers in person.
 
Collectively, representatives from the Mondiblanc Film Workshop (Nosa Normanda), Hore Besok Libur! (Winner Wijaya & Rayner Wijaya), and program director of Minikino (Fransiska Prihadi), will be your buddies of the day to talk about your film.
 
Buddies will watch and study the three selected films and each filmmaker will be given a chance to watch all the selected films. On Tuesday, September 6, 2022 08:00-10:00 WITA at the beach in front of Genius Cafe, Sanur, the selected filmmakers will meet the buddies. And yes, we will talk about your film while swimming (if the sea is calm).
 
How to apply?
 
The filmmakers must have 1 short film (production year: 2022)  with a maximum duration of 20 minutes (rough cut stage is allowed) which will be dissected/discussed.
 
Registration is only via minikino.org/dissect and is open from Friday, 5 August 2022 09:00 WITA to Friday, 19 August 2022 17:00 WITA
 
Three (3) selected films will be announced on Friday, 26 August 2022.
 
Each selected group can be represented by a maximum of two (2) participants.
 
The discussion will be conducted in Indonesian or English (when needed).
 
 
At the end of the session, the selected filmmakers will have a new network and hopefully fresh ideas that will inspire them to complete and distribute their film.
