2026-2027 Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program Survey Application
Indian River Central School District is offering Universal Pre-K for the 2026-2027 school year.  
You will be notified by email for availability of classroom seats, time and location after May 1st when the Lottery is completed for available seats.  At that time, you will be given additional information regarding final registration process to complete your child's registration.

This survey will collect information regarding your top choice for Locations & Sessions.  Parents may indicate other notes (ex. building, time, etc.) using the comment section at the end of the survey form.   No preference is also an option.  

2026-27 School Year Offerings: 
Sessions: 
  • Full Day (All Primary Locations: Antwerp, Philadelphia, Theresa, Evans Mills, Calcium)
  • Full Day HeadStart (Evans Mills Primary; must qualify for Headstart) 
  • Half-Day Sessions AM or PM (Calcium Primary only)
Locations: 
  • All Primary School buildings in the Indian River Central School District - Antwerp, Philadelphia, Theresa, Calcium, or Evans Mills.
Requirements & Eligibility:  
  • There is no income requirement. 
  • The child must reside within the Indian River Central School District 
  • The child must be 4 years of age on or before December 1, 2025.
Cost:  There is no charge for the UPK program.

School Year & Duration: Follows IRCSD Instructional Calendar
  • Daily Monday-Friday 
  • 5 hours for full day (or 6 hours if qualify for Head Start Services)
  • 2.5 hours for half-day (AM or PM) 
Attendance: Follows IRCSD Instructional Calendar
  • Students are expected to attend school 5 days per week.
  • Attendance is closely monitored. 
  • If a UPK student is frequently absent, they may be asked to relinquish their seat to a student on the current waiting list. 
Transportation: No busing is currently available.  Parents are responsible for transporting students to and from the program location as assigned, with the designated drop off and pick up times from UPK Staff.
