The Spirit of Giving Awards provide an opportunity for the Poweshiek County community to honor individuals, youth and businesses that embody the philanthropic spirit of our county.  Nominees will be chosen for their service to others through individual endeavors and/or overall community involvement, for fostering charitable giving by promoting volunteerism or collaboration with a nonprofit in a creative way, for supporting nonprofits in the community, or for individuals who serve as a mentor, making meaningful contributions to the quality of life.
