This award recognizes an individual/organization who is making a significant impact on building and strengthening the technology talent pipeline in Colorado. The recipient actively leads and supports initiatives that are building and ensuring a strong local pipeline of qualified workers for technology companies and IT departments across the state.
All nominations must be submitted via this electronic form, and once submitted, all nominations are final. Your award nomination must be submitted by Thursday, November 6. 
Eligibility: 
1. Nominees must be a Colorado resident and/or a Colorado business with a significant physical presence in Colorado. 
2. Nominees for CEO, Technology Leader & CISO of the year awards must be in their current role for at least 1 year.
3. Nominees for Emerging Tech Company must have been in operation for less than five years, while nominees for Company of the Year must have been operating for more than five years.
4. Previous winners are not eligible to win. Previous nominees and finalists are encouraged to submit a nomination again. 
5. Self-nominations are welcome. 
6. Finalists are expected to make themselves available for the video/photo shoot in January (date TBA) and attend the awards program on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
7. Nominations are due Thursday, November 6 by 5:00pm MST. 
8. Individuals and organizations from the public sector, private sector, and consulting firms are eligible to apply, provided they meet the criteria above
General Judging Criteria: 
- Strengthening the Workforce – Leads or supports initiatives that build and grow Colorado’s technology talent pipeline, ensuring a strong, skilled workforce for the state. 
- Community & Industry Influence – Actively contributes to making Colorado a leading technology hub through partnerships, collaboration, and industry initiatives. 
- Empowering Others – Expands access to opportunities that enable individuals to grow, contribute, and succeed in their roles. 
CTA's panel of judges are looking for well thought-out, detailed nominations that showcase accomplishments over time and in the past year. Nominations lacking these components are less likely to be considered for finalist and/or winner designations. We recommend collaborating directly with your nominee to provide quality information. 
TIPS: Draft your answers to the essay questions in a separate text document and be concise. Please note that there is a 2,000 word count limit for your answers. Once finalized, you can then copy/paste the info into this form for submission. We strongly advise against composing the answers to the essay questions live in the online form.
