Kenosha Public Library does not purchase unsolicited materials, return materials or accept invoices.
Authors who reside in or are from the Kenosha area, their material is set in the Kenosha area, or it has strong local interest should submit the form for submission to the Kenosha Authors Collection.
Please use this form to submit your request to have your work added to the general collection at Kenosha Public Library. Materials will be considered based on the criteria in the Collection Development and Materials Selection Policy. Due to volume, we do not respond directly to submission requests. Materials that are added to the collection will appear in the library catalog approximately 6 weeks after they are ordered.
Items are selected based on community interest. Kenosha Public Library frequently reviews circulation data to determine collection priorities.
Kenosha Public Library acquires materials through established library vendors (eg. Baker & Taylor, Ingram, Midwest Tape). Amazon and similar websites are not established library vendors.
Kenosha Public Library does not purchase items without a unique ISBN, directly from authors, self-published materials, materials without professional durable binding, textbooks, or materials in consumable formats such as workbooks.
Submission indicates that the creator/publisher has full ownership and/or legal rights to all content, both text and artwork.
