WORKSHOP: Library of illiterates

Library of illiterates brings a situation to imagine an ecological ways of world making through conceiving knowledge object’s without texts and further rethinking knowledge processes and living structures. The workshop will focus on the conceiving/conversing the knowledge goals which can make our places more liveable, instead of propagating competitions and greed. The workshop will happen through conversations, presentation and collective thinking about the other ways of thinking about knowledge. Library of Illiterates will become a plot to take off.

Library of illiterates is an initiative in process at Nadaon, Buxar, Bihar. And the library wants to collectively rethink about the goal of knowledge practice, fields and soil as the core philosophical sites of pedagogical manifestations. Through this workshop the Library of illiterate’s will offer/initiate propositions, prompts, and conversational processes. In 2 to 3 hour long workshop participants will come together to conceive knowledge objects, reading methodologies without texts and structures of books in relation to human body movements and systems of library making.
