Date and nature of the event
The event takes place at
P. Jurjana Music School, Baložu 27, Riga, Latvia
on Saturday 18th of October 2025 and Sunday 19th of October 2025. The program promotes sharing and learning together hands on, and also away from the instrument. It is organised for all the Suzuki piano teachers from trainee to teacher trainers.
Registration
All participants must register individually. Registration will be confirmed once payment is received. A completed registration form is required for each participant. Please note that places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Payment
Early bird payment (80 euros) must be made before the 31st of May 2025. Full payment (100 euros) must be made between the 1st of June 2025 and the 15th of August 2025. Payment must be made via bank transfer as indicated in the email sent upon registration. If payment has not been received before the 15th of August 2025, the registration will be cancelled which means that the applicant will not be able to attend the event.
Payment includes attendance at the conference, the lunch on Saturday, the lunch on Sunday and the Celebration Buffet dinner on Saturday evening.
Cancellations and Refunds
**Cancellation Policy:**
- To receive a **full refund**, cancellations must be made before **July 15th, 2025**.
- Cancellations made between **July 15th, 2025** and the start of the workshop will not be refunded.
- If the workshop is cancelled by the organizer before ** August 15th, 2025 **, due to lack of numbers, participants will receive a full refund.
Workshop Timings
The conference will take place on Saturday the 18th of October 2025 - 10 am, and will conclude on Sunday the 19th of October 2025 at 4pm. Workshop Content
The organizer reserves the right to adjust the workshop schedule, content, and activities as needed, without prior notice. Any significant changes that may impact the overall experience of the workshop will be communicated to participants promptly.
Participants are kindly asked to be mindful and respectful of the children’s learning process, should there be children present in the classes. In these instances, we encourage everyone to embrace Dr. Suzuki’s philosophy of "one Teacher," fostering a positive and supportive environment for all involved.
Travel and Accommodation
Participants are responsible for arranging their own flights and accommodation to and from Riga.
Photography and Media
Photos and videos may be taken during the workshop for promotional purposes. By registering, observers consent to the use of their image in promotional materials unless they notify the organizer in writing before the workshop begins.Personal Belongings
The organiser is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Observers are encouraged to bring only essential items to the workshop and not leave personal items behind them.
Please respect the rooms and facilities made available to us and leave the rooms as clean and tidy as you found them. Also we ask that no drinks or food are taken into the piano rooms.
Liability
The organiser takes every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants and observers. However, by registering, observers agree that the organiser will not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, or illness that may occur during the workshop.
Medical Emergencies
In the event of a medical emergency, workshop staff will attempt to contact the observer's emergency contact immediately. If necessary, staff may take appropriate action, including calling emergency services, and observers agree to be responsible for any associated medical costs. Please make sure that your private travel insurance is up to date.
Special Needs
If you have any specific needs (medical, dietary, or otherwise), please inform the organiser prior to the workshop to make appropriate arrangements.
Health Protocols
If an observer shows symptoms of illness, they must refrain from attending the workshop. In such cases, alternative arrangements may be discussed with the organiser.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
The organiser reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any significant changes will be communicated to observers before the start of the workshop.
