This form registers participants for the Winter Walking Program offered through Gowanda Central School District Adult and Community Education.
Program OverviewWe are adjusting the times for the Winter Walking Program for Gowanda community members. This program offers a simple, welcoming way to stay active, build a healthy routine, and enjoy consistent movement without worrying about weather conditions.
When: Monday through Friday.
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
Location: Gowanda Elementary School Halls.
Cost: One-time fee of $10.00 (GCSD Staff walk for FREE).
Capacity: Limited to the first 15 registered participants.
NOTICE: Registration and payment are both due ahead of time for all classes. Payments may be made via Cash, Check (payable to GCSD Adult Community Education), or Venmo @Grnot91 (Jennifer Gernatt).
Participant Guidelines & SafetyRegistration is required. By registering, you agree to the following guidelines to ensure school safety remains a priority:
Check-In: I agree to sign in and out during the program to ensure absolute safety for our schools.
Building Use: I agree to not enter any classrooms and only walk the halls during this program.
Footwear: I agree to change shoes upon entering the building to ensure floors do not get dirty or wet.
Important LogisticsSchool Closures: Access will not be available when school is closed due to weather or district breaks/holidays.
Easter Break: School is closed for Easter Break April 3 – 10, 2026.
