Hi there! We are Middletown Church, a historic faith community located in Delaware County, PA. Our community is made up of resourceful, compassionate, and hardworking individuals, each with their own unique set of skills.
As a church, we aim to connect to the larger Middletown community and locate the gaps. Who is slipping through the cracks? Who in our community is being overlooked? Who needs a helping hand? In our increasingly fragmented world, many are left without a support system. We pool our resources and expertise to help meet those needs.
This helpline is aimed to be a direct line of communication between the church & the surrounding community. It is an effort to make it easier for our neighbors to request support for themselves or for others. If we aren't able to help directly, we will share with our network of volunteers. Some examples of things we may be able to assist with:
- Meals for those who aren't able to cook for themselves
- Addition to our prayer chain
- Transportation support for those unable to drive
- Connection to parent groups for childcare support
