Hazard Communications Training and Acknowledgement

Purpose and Goal

The purpose of this form is to comply with CFR (Code of Federal Regulation) section 1910.1200, which governs the Hazard Communication Standard.

The goal of this form is to ensure staff have the information they need to better protect themselves from chemical hazards in the workplace.


Definitions You Need to Know

  • Staff: NKY Health Employees, Supplemental Staff, Students, and Volunteers

  • Chemicals: Everything from the hand sanitizer on your desk to the heavy-duty cleansers in the janitorial closets.
