Artist and Cultural Producer, Oskar Ly will present about ArtCrop, a project that deepens the public's connection to Hmong culture through the arts and agricultural roots of the Minnesota Hmong community. Oskar will share about her experience in creating culturally-specific platforms and identity-work that is intergenerational, to reclaim and re-imagine Hmong culture, in partnership with the Hmong American Farmers Association.

ArtCrop uses the CSA (community supported agriculture/art), artist residency and public art approaches to engage first and second generation Hmong-Americans and broader audiences to consider the future of Hmong culture through an art and agriculture lens.

Oskar Ly was a Forecast 2018 Early Career Project grantee.
