As a mentor I will set and maintain appropriate boundaries and will reach out to church staff if there's ever a cause for concern. I understand that mentorship is not to replace friendships or regular Christian community but is an enriching short-term investment in someone else's journey with God. I will depend on the Holy Spirit to guide me in my mentoring role, resting in the fact that it is God who does the transforming in and through us, we just take steps of obedience. *
