You must pre-register by Friday, May 31st to attend. Limited spaces available; please sign up early. The bright, versatile world of acrylics is waiting for you! Students will learn composition, color theory, and a variety of painting techniques as they work on individual projects of their choosing.

About the Teacher: Winner of regional and national awards for art and photography, Melinda has exhibited a number of one-woman shows in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa, and has had works accepted in numerous juried exhibitions. In addition to creating fine art works and commissioned portraits, she has taught visiting artist programs to elementary and high schools in Missouri and Iowa, as well as drawing and photography classes through community colleges in Nebraska and Iowa. She’s taught a number of drawing and watercolor classes through the Baldwin City Recreation Commission and the Lumberyard Arts Center in Baldwin City, Kansas.
