Spring 2026 GOTR 5K Volunteer Form

The GOTR 5K will take place on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Leon Levine Hall of Health Sciences, 1179 State Farm Road, Boone, NC

Volunteers are needed for advance preparation and day-of event duties. Please see below for more details.

Girls on the Run 5k - end of season celebration is the culminating event in our 10-week GOTR curriculum. We ask that you are flexible day of and are open to doing different roles as needed!

Sales Table (Sales Table - sell GOTR merchandise) 12:30-2:00pm

Registration (Registration Table) - Collect registration documents and hand out bibs 12:30-2:00pm

Volunteer Check In (assist with getting volunteers to where they need to be) 12:30-2:00pm

Food Table (set up food and drinks for end of run distribution) 1:45-3:30pm

Water Station (distribute water on course ) 1:30-3pm

Sparkle Station (shower the runners in sparkles and bling them out along the race route) 1:30-3pm

Sparkle Squad (Sweep up the end of the pack while completing the route) 2-3pm

Medalers (Hand out medals as runners arrive at finish line) 2-3pm

Directional (Assist along the route so that runners know where to go) 1:30-3pm

Clean Up (help clean up and pack up) 3-3:30pm
