Help us make sure that no one is living on the streets this July. The Continuum of Care for the City and County of Racine invites you to participate in its bi-annual Point-In-Time (PIT) Homeless Street Outreach Event on January 24, 2018.
The Point-In-Time Street Outreach Event surveys people living on the streets in Racine through the efforts of social service providers and community volunteers like you. Volunteers will receive an orientation prior to conducting street outreach activities. The orientation will provide instruction on safety, how to approach people on the streets, documentation, and where to search in assigned areas. Experienced leaders will guide each volunteer team in the community to:
-Provide Information and Referrals-Conduct Brief Interviews-Document Observations
