About This Program
Digital Mentorship is tuition-free afterschool program that teaches students the fundamentals of producing electronic music using a range of instruments and creative technologies. Students will increase their music, tech and STEM-related skills and have the opportunity to develop their own song and video projects.   

This program is ideal for beginners—no experience required!

  • Song development and creating a musical track 
  • Making samples and beats 
  • Playing electronic instruments  
  • Creating music and digital art with software
  • Live coding 
  • Building DIY instruments and electronics 
  • Learn from professionals who work in music, art and tech fields

When: March 25 to May 29, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:45 - 6:00 pm

Where: Willie Mae Rock Camp, 540 President Street Suite 2H, Brooklyn, NY 11215

Who is Eligible: Girls and gender-expansive youth ages 10-17

Cost: Free! Register Now! Space is Limited! 

Orientation: We ask that parents/guardians attend an orientation this winter before program start. Parent orientation is scheduled on March 22, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
