Discipleship Groups
Jesus invited those interested in learning more about him to "come and see," to discover who he was and what it would look like to become one of His students. Discipleship Groups seek to provide a safe environment to join others in learning about Jesus.

Who? Discipleship Groups are for anyone who wants to learn more about Jesus and life with Him.

What? Get to know others and read and learn about Jesus from a Bible text.

When? Weekly for about an hour at various times throughout the week.

Where? Anywhere from a coffee shop early in the morning to a business conference room over lunch to homes in the evening after the kids are in bed.

Why? To learn about Jesus, the center of the Christian faith, and the abundant life He promises to those who follow Him.

Sign-ups will be online up until September 18th. Questions? Contact David Thompson at 972-562-9944 ext 121 or david.thompson@oslmckinney.org.

Meeting Day, Time, and Location
When are you available to meet? This may be a little tricky, as you may be in McKinney early but in Dallas for lunch. See if the check boxes are enough to tell us when and where you can meet. If the check boxes are not working for you, you'll have a chance to write in your availability in the next section.

Group Facilitator
Facilitating a group can be fun! Still not convinced? As a facilitator you help the group walk through the group discussion questions. The discussion questions are provided ahead of time along with a short video that prepares you to facilitate the discussion. You also have access to a pastor hotline in case you have a question.

Fall groups will begin September 24th. You should hear from the group facilitator by the second week of September. If you do not, please let the church office know and we'll figure out where we dropped the ball, apologize profusely, send someone to time out, and let you know what's up with your group. Thanks!
