What is a medical group visit?
A medical group visit is a shared medical appointment with about 6-12 individuals coping with similar medical issues. Participants will leave empowered with action items, education and a stronger sense of community. There is a medical component to the visit, whereby participants will have a focused physical exam and a focused review of symptoms. The visit is about 1 hour long. The visits may be in person or virtually using the HIPAA compliant product called Zoom. Medical group visits are generally covered by insurance and are considered an appointment. The cost will depend upon your deductible and individual insurance plan.
