What is a medical group visit?

A medical group visit is a shared medical appointment with about 6-12 individuals coping with similar medical issues. Participants will leave empowered with action items, education and a stronger sense of community. There is a medical component to the visit, whereby participants will have a focused physical exam and a focused review of symptoms. The visit is about 1 hour long. The visits may be in person or virtually using the HIPAA compliant product called Zoom. Medical group visits are generally covered by insurance and are considered an appointment.
