Dear Parents,
The Tri-City Chapter of the Washington State Music Teachers Association (WSMTA) sponsors the annual Ribbon Festival, a participation music festival. All music students are invited to participate and all parents and families are encouraged to attend. Students may earn up to eleven award ribbons, all related to music-learning. Every student from beginning through advanced can have a successful and rewarding experience.
Since its introduction in 1980, the Ribbon Festival has motivated thousands of Tri-City area music students. Your fee covers costs and helps to fund student scholarships. We look forward to your participation in this wonderful event. Participating students may attend any time during Ribbon Festival hours.
Please consider volunteering an hour of your time to assist at the Ribbon Festival. Parents and older students can help with checking in the crafts that students bring and can help pass out ribbons. We greatly appreciate your time!
Musically yours,
Tri-City Chapter WSMTA
