Volunteer Registration - Spoons Across America
We are excited to be running our food and nutrition based programs for children throughout the school year and into the summer. We rely on our wonderful trained volunteers to help us bring these programs to schools and afterschool sites in New York City. Above mentioned individual and not Spoons Across America is solely responsible for payment of worker's compensation, disability and other similar benefits, unemployment and other similar insurance and for withholding taxes and social security. Above mentioned individual has no authority to make commitments or enter into contracts on behalf of, or bind or otherwise obligate Spoons Across America to any third party in any manner whatsoever, except if and to the extent expressly authorized in writing in advance by Spoons Across America. Mission Statement: Spoons Across America is a non for profit organization dedicated to educating children, teachers and families about the benefits of healthy eating. We work to influence the eating habits of children through hands on education that celebrates the connections to local farmers and the important traditions of sharing meals around the family table.
