Arlington Scholars Program Application for Admission
The Arlington Scholars Program is a rigorous academic program designed for incoming 9th grade students who are passionate about learning. Opportunities are offered for students to earn college credit, foster school and community leadership skills, and enhance their personal development through twelve hours per year of community, school, and elective service projects. Selection for this program will be determined by a combination of the student's grades, writing sample, recommendations, and interview.

Application Process:

1. Complete the online application for admission by March 3.

2. Print three recommendation forms and have them completed by two current teachers and one non-relative community member. These forms must be returned to AHS by March 3.

3. Print and sign the Statement of Intent. This form must be signed by the student and parent and returned to AHS by March 3.

4. Provide a copy of the most recent report card. This can be faxed or mailed to the school.

5. After we receive your online application, you will receive a link via email to schedule the interview. Interview dates are April 1 (8 a.m. - 12 p.m.) and April 4 (5-7 p.m.). Students will complete the writing sample on campus when they arrive for the interview.
