This form should be used to apply for a place in Year 7 through to Year 11 at a secondary school in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames for the academic year 2025/26 ONLY. Applications for the academic year 2025/26 will close on 26 June 2026.

Before you complete this form, read the 'Admission to a Richmond school as an in-year transfer’ brochure. It is your responsibility to send copies of any relevant supporting documents to richmond.admissions@achievingforchildren.org.uk for us to appropriately assess your application.

It is your responsibility to read the full admission arrangements for each of your preferred schools before making your application to ensure you have provided all the information required.

You must apply for the year group according to your child's date of birth below only. Any requests for your child to be educated outside of their chronological year group will be decided by the school once an offer has been made.

If you are offered a place your child will be expected to start within five school days otherwise the place may be withdrawn. We will not reserve places for children, and you will be required to re-start the application process if they cannot start school within this timeframe. The only exception to this is for children who receive an offer before the summer break to start at the beginning of September 2025.

If you are submitting another application for the same academic year, it will supersede your existing application and it will be processed in the order it is received. It is your responsibility to include any preferences that you wish to retain from your existing application as your child will automatically be removed from the waiting list of schools not included on the most recent application.
