Basic statistics (t-tests, anovas, regression, etc.)
Cluster analysis techniques
Confirmatory factor analysis
Exploratory factor analysis
Text mining (not coding, i.e. cluster analysis on words, word clouds, term-document matrix, etc.)
How to program interactivity (manipulate data with radio buttons, drop down menus, etc., see
) for examples
Advanced data visualizations (see the gallery:
Do you have data for which you want to conduct a specific analysis (or have a somewhat defined research question) that you are willing/able to share? Sharing is purely for instructional, not research purposes. If you answer "yes," I'll contact you for further details.
Sometimes we need to do repetitive things when cleaning our data (i.e. reorganize output from Qualtrics, copy/paste way too many times) that R can do pretty efficiently. If you can think of any dull and repetitive things you need to do to clean your data, please describe it below so I can use it as an example to work through in R.
This last question is just a chance for you say anything that you really want to see talked about, or what you want to get out of the workshop.
