SJYS Audition Application
Please fill out and submit this audition application if you are interested in joining the San Jose Youth Symphony for the following 2017-2018 Season. We will send out an email confirming receipt of your audition application no later than two weeks following the date of your submission.

The audition fee is $30 per musician, and specific details on how to pay will be explained in the confirmation email. Payment may be made by check (made out to "SJYS") or by credit card (payment by phone at 408.885.9220) or via PayPal (with payment sent to sjys@sjys.org).

If you are interested in joining our new Jazz Ensemble, please alert us to your interest in the NOTES & COMMENTS text box in the application form. Please be advised that the Jazz Ensemble accepts only the following instruments: (1) trumpets; (2) trombones; (3) saxophones; (4) drums; (5) pianos; (6) basses; and (7) guitars.

Auditions will be scheduled at the mutual convenience of the auditioning judge and the audition applicant, and will likely take place at one of the following times: (1) before or after scheduled rehearsals on Mondays or Sundays, for the rest of the season; and (2) over the summer, likely in July, shortly before the start of our summer camps, the first of which begins on July 23rd, 2017.
