Environmental Defense Fund and the Salata Institute at Harvard University are hosting an interactive workshop
as part of Climate Week in NYC. This interactive workshop will bring together multi-sector experts to explore meaningful solutions for how insurance can support and accelerate decarbonization. Through a series of facilitated small group discussions, participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with other experts, discuss emerging topics, and share new ideas.

Table Host: Peter Tufano, Harvard Business School
- Climate Endorsements: How can the claims process be used to drive the decarbonization or heightened resilience of buildings and fleets at the time of rebuilding? Table Host: Carolyn Kousky, Environmental Defense Fund
- Insurance and the Energy Transition: How can insurers help high-emitters with their energy transition and help to accelerate the transition? Table Host: Maggie Peloso, Chubb Insurance
- Collaboration & Innovation: What are outside-the-box ideas for how insurers can more rapidly support climate action? How can insurers collaborate with each other and with other industries and sectors to spur climate action? Table Host: Leslie Labruto, Environmental Defense Fund
