UPDATE!!! MORE MARSHAL TRAINING REGISTRATION 1/21/17 Women's March on Chicago
A large number of women and their allies are expected to join us for this rally and march. Marshals are an essential part of the safety team. A marshal's main role is to make sure everyone moves along the march route safely and has a good time. Some roles that are expected of marshals:

Marshal are expected to walk for the distance of the route, keep the march at a pace which is inclusive and accessible for all participants, Identify any situations which require emergency assistance and call for help if needed, work well with a team of people, observant and active listeners, stay calm and treat everyone with kindness and respect even in tense situations, give clear directions, delegate tasks or responsibilities if needed, keep good energy and lead chants or songs, and serve as liaisons between event planners and march participants.

So many people have asked for more marshal trainings! Thanks to our valued friends at SEIU Healthcare IL/IN.

If you haven't ever done this, please do! I promise you will enjoy it. The crowds are bigger every night!
