About the Training
The Level 1 AcroYoga Montreal Teacher Training is coming to Antwerp, Belgium in 2020. This 12-day, 100-hour training presents fundamental to advanced partnering techniques to cultivate your hard and soft skills as a practitioner, teacher and community leader. Daily program includes: yoga, movement exploration, handstands, signature acroyoga flow, acroyoga technique 1 & 2, teaching methodology, teaching assignments, public teaching, creative process and restorative practices. Additional workshops cover: anatomy and injury prevention, communication, safe space, spotting, classroom management, sequencing, business and ethics of acroyoga, introduction to social justice and games strategy.
Acroyoga Montreal was founded by Eugene Poku and Jessica Goldberg in 1999. Since 1982 they have been collaborating to foster greater social awareness and inclusivity, connecting human beings through the transformative power of movement. They are joined by senior teachers Jill Campbell and Heidi Blais to offer you the best of physical reintegration, mental sharpening, emotional awakening and remembered wisdom: acrobatics with a yogic consciousness.
Daily Schedule: 7am - 5:30pm. Starting: April 21st at 7am. Finishing: May 3rd at 5:30pm. Rest day: April 27th.
