Should UoA change its GPA system to account for Covid-19's disruption to studying?
We're calling on our University to adopt a temporary policy allowing all students who achieve any passing grade for any course that is less than the GPA they began this Semester with to have that course noted as a "PASS" and the result exempted from their GPA calculation, due to Covid-19.

George and Emma, AUSA's President and Education Vice-President, have another meeting with the University to push for this next week. To get this over the line though, we need to show just how overwhelming the student support for this is from across our various faculties. Thanks so much for taking the time to fill this out!

Do you think the University should adopt a temporary policy allowing all students who achieve a passing grade for any courses that are less than the GPA they began the Semester with to have them noted as a "PASS" on their academic transcript and the result exempted from their GPA calculation, due to Covid-19? Note: There would likely have to be exemptions for courses that determine competitive entry to particular programmes of study. *
