Big Picture Alliance - SUMMER "Intro to Media Futures"
INTRO TO MEDIA FUTURES is a 6-week paid summer intensive where youth (ages 18-24) learn digital media production skills (screenwriting, camera, audio, lighting, editing) through producing an original “work-for-hire” documentary with a community client under the mentorship of professionals. 

Upon completion, youth are eligible for "Media Futures", a 10-month paid workforce program that supports youth (ages 18-24) towards pursuing careers in film & media. From Sept-June, youth develop digital media skills, career skills, portfolio websites and gain industry certifications (Adobe) through producing a “work-for-hire” with a community client under the mentorship of professionals. Alumni are then placed at 4-month paid industry apprenticeships with some of the top film & media companies across Philly.

$900 stipend (for full participation)
