RULES AND REGULATIONS:

1. The festival committee reserves the right to deny parade participation to any individual or group found to be harassing or endangering others.

2. You will be directed to your spot upon entry into the parking lot.

3. The parade begins and ends at Central Noble Senior High School parking lot.

4. Please make sure there is at least one contact person so that you can be found if needed.  (also in case of a rain out)

5. For the safety of everyone DO NOT throw candy from moving vehicles. Walkers associated with your group may toss candy.

6. All extra vehicles and non-participants are asked to park at Albion Elementary (Central Noble Elementary) and Junior High School parking lots or on Highland and Jefferson Streets and use the sidewalk between the elementary and high school auditorium to join your group. This is very important for safety reasons.

7. NON-PARADE vehicles will NOT be allowed to drive through the parking lots during the parade line up.  (You may drop off at the gate only). For large groups, PLEASE tell your parents or participants that they will only be able to drop off their children/participants at the gate only and will not be allowed to travel through the parking lots to locate their designated area.

8. All vehicles will enter the parade in single file for safety.

9. Please keep 25 feet of space between all entries during the entire parade route.

10. Alcoholic beverages and tobacco are prohibited during the parade line up and the parade itself.

11. Food Pantry donations will be collected during parade lineup in your assigned sub-lot.

12. Winners will be announced prior to Saturday evening’s entertainment.  

13. Prize money can be picked up at the Police Booth near the stoplight.

RELEASE AND WAIVER MUST BE SIGNED TO PARTICIPATE

In consideration for permission and authority to participate in and be a part of the Chain O’Lakes Festival Parade, do hereby release, waive and discharge in connection with my/our participation in the parade.  I knowingly enter into the agreement and understand the significance and consequences.  I understand that as a participant in the parade, I can be injured by a fall, actions or inactions of other parade participants or bystanders, imperfections in streets, sidewalks or curbs, hazards from motorized vehicles, and all other hazards.  I enter into this release and waiver on behalf of myself, my organization, heirs, descendants, ancestors, dependents, executors, administrator and assigns.

IT IS MY SPECIFIC INTENT TO RELEASE CHAIN O’LAKES FESTIVAL FROM ANY LIABILITY WHATSOEVER IN CONNECTION WITH ANYONE AND/OR MYSELF IN MY GROUP IN THE PARADE.
