AI & Society
During the last decades, information technologies – from personal computers and smartphones to the internet, AI, and robotics – have become ubiquitous. While today these tools dictate the everyday life of many, their functioning is understood by few.

AI & Society is our newest event series to raise awareness about the social implications of current advances in information processing technology within as well as beyond academic institutions. We aim to promote a culture of responsible innovation and animate the discussion about the ethical usage of technology across academic disciplines as well as within the general public. Thus, contributing to a more democratically funded, deliberate application of technology that helps to improve the physical, mental, and social well-being of people across the globe.

The events will be a panel discussions involving four experts from the field that share their knowledge and contrast their views. You will not be a mere bystander but by posing questions and raising points in a web application you can actively influence the points discussed.
