Spring 2026 - Cirque (FOSCA) Scholarship Application

The non-profit organization Friends of Sitka Circus Arts provides partial and full tuition scholarships for students taking Sitka Cirque Studio Classes. With the help of our generous donors, we are able to aid aspiring performing artists throughout our community.  

The number of classes and duration of tuition assistance included in the scholarship may vary depending on the particular needs and participation level of the student. Students will be selected for scholarships based on: financial need, the student’s description of their interest in and dedication to the program, course availability, and availability of funds. 

Financial aid cannot cover: registration fee, toddler classes, costumes, workshops, aerial yoga, aerial conditioning, or summer tuition.

STEPS TO APPLY FOR & ACCEPT A SCHOLARSHIP: 

1. Register for classes at Sitka Cirque as usual. For “type of payment,” choose “applying for scholarship”. If your registration to Sitka Cirque included credit card information, your credit card will not be charged until you have formally accepted your scholarship. Take a picture of your registration form.

2. Complete scholarship form below by December 5th 11:59pm for classes starting January 2026. Contact  Scholarships@SitkaFOSCA.org for questions. Up to 3 students may be put on one form. 

3. Watch your email for news of the scholarship. You will be notified by December 9th and must write back to accept the award by December 19th for fall semester classes starting January 2026.  Failure to respond to the award letter can result in loss of the scholarship award. 

4. Any remaining registration fees for classes will be due immediately upon acceptance of your scholarship.
