Now in its third year the Sedona Summer Colony is proud to announce the 2018 residency program for artists and cultural managers, running from July 21 to August 12. Applicants may choose between one, two, and three-week residencies that start and end on a Saturday. Sedona Summer Colony provides housing, meals, and work space on the Verde Valley School campus, and optional excursions off-site to explore the landscape and culture of Northern Arizona. Those intending to apply should read the 2018 Sedona Summer Colony Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), before completing this online application form.

New this year - there are a set of residency/workshops offered July 16 -19, 2018 . These workshops can be used to kick-start a residency or can be taken as a stand alone experience. This application is not needed for the workshop/residency experiences at the Colony unless you wish to add an independent residency to follow the workshop residency. See more about the workshops offered visit Summer Colony Workshops (www.sedonaartscenter.org/SedonaSummerColony.html)

The 2018 Sedona Summer Colony program will be limited to a maximum of 50 residents per day, and is not open to spouses, partners, children, relatives, or pets—unless they apply as artists or cultural managers and are accepted separately. If you have any questions not addressed in the application materials—feel free to contact Vince Fazio at Sedona Arts Center (vfazio@sedonaartscenter.org or 928-282-3809) or Carol Holyoake at Verde Valley School (cholyoake@vvsaz.org or 928-284-2272).

Applicants will be required to pay a 50% deposit at the time of application to confirm their intended dates for residency at Sedona Summer Colony. Residency fees are:
$595 one week (deposit $297.50)
$1,190 two weeks (deposit $595)
$1,785 three weeks (deposit $892.50)
