APPLICATION FORM - ECHN SKILLS WORKSHOP #3, 26 - 27 October 2017 - Edinburgh
This is the application form for creative hub leaders who wish to attend the European Creative Hubs Network skills workshop #3 in Edinburgh on 26 - 27 October 2017.

The partners of the European Creative Hubs Network project are pleased to invite you to the third European Creative Hubs Network skills workshop. How to Future Proof Your Creative Hub workshop is organised by Creative Edinburgh in conjunction with Creative Dundee, and will take place on 26 - 27 October 2017. It will bring together a group of 30 experienced hub leaders from across Europe.

How to Future Proof Your Creative Hub is the last in a series of 3 workshops - aiming to build professional capacity by developing tailored support and skills development for creative hub leaders.

For this workshop, Creative Edinburgh, Creative Dundee and the ECHN partners, have built a programme for creative hub leaders who have been running a hub for 4 years or more. The workshop will build leadership skills, and provide practical tools and tips to help identify future trends, how those will impact, and how you can plan for the future of your creative hub.

In contrast with the series of large-scale Fora organised by ECHN, the workshops are small-scale practical meetings/workshops (for 30 people max), with the objective of developing and improving skills of a small group of creative hub leaders. The meetings/workshops should be able to lead to concrete learning outcomes which the participants will be able to cascade and disseminate after the workshop, at a local level.

The European Creative Hubs Network (ECHN) is a project co-funded by the European Commission through the Creative Europe programme, led by the British Council in partnership with a consortium of European creative hubs, Bios in Greece, betahaus in Germany, Kulturni Kod/Nova Iskra in Serbia, Creative Edinburgh, Creative Dundee, and Roco (Sheffield) in the UK, Factoria Cultural in Spain, and the European Business Network (EBN). ECHN aims to enhance the ecosystem that supports the development and growth of the creative and cultural sector by supporting the subsistence and growth of creative hubs in Europe, creating a community of experienced creative hubs leaders across Europe from a variety of sectors and promoting hubs as innovative models to support the creative economy in Europe.

Through this project, Creative Hubs managers from Europe will be able to connect with peers and gain access to a community of hubs, visit and learn from creative hubs across Europe, exchange best practice and strengthen skills, as well as learning how to strengthen their business model for the future.

We are currently running an open call for participation in this workshop, with the aim of identifying a diverse group of hub leaders from across Europe, who have some experience with hub managing careers and have at least 4 years experience running a creative hub.

The workshop will come in a condensed format, gathering a maximum number of 30 participants, in order to allow for an effective training atmosphere.

The full workshop agenda will be available and communicated on 6th September 2017.

Thursday 26th October - Main workshop sessions to run approximately 12-5.30pm
Friday 27th October - Workshop sessions to run approximately 9.30am-3.00pm
