Policies and procedures for securing childcare in the St. Francis nursery for an event:
If you are an event coordinator and would like to request childcare for your program, first make sure you have worked with the parish office to plan and schedule your event. Once it is approved by the office, please submit the following form.
After submitting this form you will receive an email confirmation that your request has been approved. Please submit requests at least three weeks in advance to ensure the best chance of securing space and staff. Once you receive confirmation, you may notify families that the nursery is available on a limited, first-come basis for your event. Families must register for childcare. If needed, the nursery coordinator will create a registration form which can be accessed from the SFA nursery web page. If no families are registered by the deadline, childcare may be canceled.
The nursery coordinator will secure at least two childcare providers for an event. One of these providers must be a trained adult 18 or older. The nursery coordinator has a list of trained childcare workers who can be hired at a rate of $10 an hour to be paid by the event sponsor. If an organization cannot pay for childcare, please contact the nursery coordinator regarding alternative options.
