Jennian Homes New Zealand Track & Field Championships Volunteer Application
We are looking for some enthusiastic volunteers to help join our team to deliver the Jennian Homes New Zealand Track & Field Championships in March 2020. All volunteers will be provided with a t-shirt, cap, lunch and the chance to see some of New Zealand's best athletes in action as they compete for their last chance to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Event Set up Date: Thursday 5 March 2020
Event Dates: Friday 6 March - Sunday 8 March 2020
Venue: Nga Puna Wai Sports Hub, Christchurch

Please note all volunteers must be 16 years and over. Please send this form to whomever you feel would also be a suitable volunteer.

Shift Timings
Thursday (5 March) will be assistance with the event set up in the afternoon and Friday, Saturday and Sunday (6 - 8 March) will be event orientated assistance.

On Thursday we just require afternoon set up assistance, but the three event days will be split into morning and afternoon shifts, timings are outlined for each shift below.
You will be asked which shifts you are available to work in the questions below, please indicate all shifts you are available for. If you would like to work both the morning and afternoon shifts, please tick both boxes.

Event Roles
Please see the types of roles that volunteers will be asked to undertake. If there is a particular role that you may be interested in, then please indicate it in the box below. If you work more than one shift we will endeavour to rotate roles that you work. Confirmation of roles will be made closer to the event.

Officials - running results & information, setting up competition equipment, athlete registration
Ticketing - greeting spectators on arrival, scanning tickets, handing out wristbands
Hospitality - looking after our VIP guests
Spectator Services - helping spectators find their seats and keeping the crowd engaged
Volunteer Support - helping ensure all volunteers and officials are looked after out in the field
