We believe that the strength and involvement of our PTA is an integral part of the success of Wanamassa. There are so many ways to help and be involved at Wanamassa no matter how much time and energy you can share. Your continued support, whether it is your membership, knowledge, time or resources will make a difference at Wanamassa Elementary School. Parents volunteers are needed, requested, and appreciated!!!

CLASSROOM VOLUNTEERS
By volunteering to help in the classroom, you agree to help with one or more classroom parties, send in party supplies, or assist the teacher when needed. 

There are many exciting volunteer opportunities throughout the year. In order to volunteer and participate in classroom parties you must be a registered PTA member.

Class Parent sends reminder emails/phone calls for parties/fundraisers. You will act as a liaison between the teacher and parents, as the classroom party coordinator, and attendance at monthly PTA meetings is strongly encouraged.

Class Helper
Class Helper should be willing to send in supplies, attend classroom events if available, or assist with Classroom Parent duties. In a typical year this includes Halloween, Winter Holiday, and Valentine's parties and possibly other occasions as the teacher requests.
