2019 Military Appreciation Day
Civil Air Patrol will host a Booth/Exhibit during the Military Appreciation Day at the MN State Fair on Tuesday, August 27. The Military Appreciation Day Exhibit is designed to demonstrate how CAP utilizes all facets of STEM (i.e. Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) to demonstrate and experience the science of flight.

Hello! The Civil Air Patrol will host a Booth/Exhibit during the Military Appreciation Day at the MN State Fair on Tuesday, August 27.

MID 27-Aug: 0930 to 1430 - Booth Attendant: Engage booth guests; Present CAP
PM 27-Aug: 1400 to 1800 - Booth Attendant/Teardown: Engage guests; Present CAP

For your pass and a ride into the Fair, meet by 0060 at

MID and PM helpers:
For your pass, when you arrive at the gate
Call an event POC, and a runner will bring your pass to you.

EXPANDED DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION"
EXHIBIT BOOTH ATTENDANT
- Actively engage booth guests in conversations about Civil Air Patrol
- Hand out literature and Assist with answering questions about CAP
- Assist youth guests with AE-themed activities: Paper Rocketry Craft & Flight Simulator

NOTE: These activities are "kid magnets" that attract youth to the booth! While the youth are building & launching rockets or flying the simulator, their chaperones will listen to a pitch about Civil Air Patrol.

UNIFORM OF THE DAY
