Carmelite Young Adult Day - Boston - 2024
Young adults (single, married, etc.) are invited to join the Carmelite family for Carmelite Young Adult Day

Date: October 5, 2024
Time: 9am-3pm
Location: St. Mary of the Assumption Parish (5 Linden Pl, Brookline, MA 02445)
(The church has a parking lot, but carpooling and the use of public transportation is highly encouraged)

Our theme for this year is St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, also known by her birth name, Edith Stein

We will hear from Fr. Pier Giorgio of Christ the King, OCD (managing editor of ICS Publications, which has published English translations of a number of the writings of St. Teresa Benedicta) and from Fr. John Sullivan, OCD who has dedicated much of his life to the study of the life and spirituality of St. Teresa Benedicta. 

The day will include conferences, lunch, Mass, adoration, confessions, a St. Teresa Benedicta exhibit, and more! 

This event is free, donations are welcome.

Priests and religious who work with young adults are welcome to attend with their young adult groups. Please register below.

Participants are invited to bring sides or desserts. 

We will have a refrigerator to store food that needs to be kept cold, but do not have anything to heat food. Also, if the food you bring requires some sort of serving utensil (tongs, spoon, etc.), please bring that as well. Please make sure the items you want returned to you are clearly labeled.
