2026 Hawaiʻi Storm & Hurricane Financial Support Request Form
If you or someone you know was impacted by Hurricane Lowell or Hurricane Lala, use this form to submit a fundraiser for verification, inclusion on the Hawai'i Storm & Hurricane Financial Support list, and possible Storm Kōkua grant support.

We verify every submission before it is shared publicly. Please fill out this form as completely as you can. Every question helps our volunteers verify the request more quickly. This is an entirely grassroots effort managed by unpaid volunteers.  Providing names, contact information, social media, location, fundraiser details, and a clear description of the impact helps us review requests faster.

Our verification happens in two steps:

  1. Initial review: Volunteers with Hawaiʻi Mutual Aid Network review the information in your form, your fundraiser, publicly available information, and may contact the person submitting the request if additional information is needed.
  2. Community verification: Requests that move forward are then reviewed by volunteers with direct ties to the impacted community who help confirm the person or ʻohana and the impacts being reported.

Fundraiser Information
We strongly recommend setting up a GoFundMe before submitting this form. Venmo, Cash App, and other payment links are accepted, but they are significantly more difficult for our team to verify and may limit the visibility and overall support we’re able to provide.

Verified GoFundMe fundraisers for households experiencing major storm-related impacts may also be eligible for $1,100 direct aid grant.* This includes major impacts to a home, property, or primary/essential vehicle, such as displacement, flooding, mold or unsafe living conditions, structural or major exterior damage, significant tree or debris impacts, or a primary vehicle that is unusable.
