Workshop description
Participants will explore what is meant by mindfulness and its role in reducing stress reactivity in daily life. Participants will get introduced to mindfulness through several short guided practices, small group discussions, and question-answer sessions. There is no prerequisite to attend this workshop. This workshop is a prerequisite for the 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course offered by Mamata Misra in 2017. Each workshop needs a minimum of 5 participants and is limited to 12 participants.
