IV. DELEGATION YOU ARE APPLYING FOR:
PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE ANSWERING THE NEXT QUESTIONS:

WHAT IS A DELEGATION? A DELEGATION is a group of students representing a country that has membership in the United Nations.
Your school may bring 1 delegation -- that is, represent 1 country in TIMEMUN 2020.

A delegation has between 7-11 members, depending on the country you are representing.

Why 7-11? There are 11 committees in TIMEMUN:
-----7 regular committees that all countries/schools can be part of: American Senate, Disarmament, ECOSOC, Environment, Human Rights, Territorial Disputes, Trade and Development
-----4 specialized committees: Security Council (15 members), Historical Security Council (15 members), Crisis (40-50 members), Special Committee (50 members). Depending on whether you are eligible for these committees, you will be able to place students there. MORE INFORMATION ON THAT LATER IN THE YEAR.

ONE LAST NOTE:
We would love to be able to accept all the students who are interested in attending TIMEMUN 2020. However, our conference is becoming very popular and we cannot accept more than 600 students total. Schools will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, as well as the number of positions per school. Make sure that students know that no spot is guaranteed until later in the year, when we will have a clearer picture of our total registration.
a) Are you requesting a Security Council or Historical Security Council Position? *
b) How many students do you want to bring to TIMEMUN? *
Maximum number possible: ELEVEN (11) students
c) How many additional delegates do you have that you would like placed on a waitlist? These places become available if other schools do not bring their maximum number of students--but they are not guaranteed. *
V. CONFIRMATION
Please write the word "YES" in the box below to indicate that you have read the following statement: "I understand that I will receive an invoice and a deposit of 800 NIS must be paid to the Walworth Barbour American International School by November 21, 2019 to guarantee my school's registration. I also understand that if this deposit is NOT received by November 21, my school will be put on a TIMEMUN waitlist." *
