This semester we are emphasizing the importance of reflection meetings. Last semester, attendance at in person reflection meetings unfortunately never exceeded 40-50 despite having 140+ tutors. We want to make it clear that Overground is not simply a tutoring organization, and bi-weekly reflection is an essential part of our mission.

Overground aims to build relationships in North St. Louis through reflection, accompaniment, community partnership, and tutoring. We want to best equip our tutors before they enter schools, and we cannot do that if tutors aren't attending meetings.

Please see the attached image for this semester's tutoring slots. In the spaces provided, please list your top 3 choices of site/ day/ time and include if you have a vehicle. If you would like to tutor at Confluence, we hope to have specifics by the end of this week.

All tutors are required to complete online orientation at https://tinyurl.com/45zxm39h by February 6th. Please review our tutor contract at https://tinyurl.com/bdcn2cdw. Additionally, we are asking for proof of vaccination in order to send to our sites at https://forms.gle/CFGGKqs1xLonVYXV7.

Tutors cannot be placed until they have completed the above requirements.
