Writing Mentors Request Form
In addition to one-time appointments, the Writing Center offers semester-long Writing Mentorships for students who are working on long-term projects (senior theses, dissertations, etc.) or students who have a heavy writing load and would like to work with the same tutor on a consistent basis. Writing Mentors usually choose a regular time to meet weekly or every other week.

We have a limited number of Writing Mentorships each semester, so slots are filled on a rolling basis as they become available.

Please fill out this form if you are interested in a Writing Mentor this semester. Our coordinator will follow up on your request via email.

Are there any particular tutors you would like to work with or continue working with? (We cannot guarantee you placement with any particular tutor, but will do our best to honor requests when possible). *
Your answer
Please list at least 3 days/time slots you would be able to meet with a Writing Mentor on a regular basis, ranked in order of preference. The more times you offer, the more likely it is that we will be able to match you with a Writing Mentor. Please also indicate whether you are looking for 1-hour slots or 30-minute slots once a week. *
Your answer
We have some availability for meeting with a Writing Mentor over Skype. Our available times will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7PM-10PM. If the Skype option is appealing to you, please list at least 2 days/times slots within these windows that work for you.
