Einstein Academy is open to enroll and provide services for all students.
Submission of this application does not guarantee enrollment to Albert Einstein Academy of Letters, Arts, and Sciences. If your child is offered enrollment, forms will be sent to you and must be completed prior to admission. These forms will include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Request for Student Records (copies of most recent report card, progress report, and testing results.). 2. Copy of the student's birth certificate. 3. Proofs of residency: copy of parent/guardian driver's license, copy of property tax bill, deed or rental agreement, or utility bill showing residency address. 4. Registration health requirements.
Once the pre-determined "pre-lottery" application window closes, if the number of applicants exceeds the capacity of the school, or of a particular grade level, admission will be determined by public lottery. Enrollment preference for the available space will be given as follows: currently enrolled students, sibling(s) of currently enrolled students, children of faculty and staff and new families. If space is not available for all applicants within a certain priority level, a random, unbiased lottery will be held to select students from the priority level for enrollment. Should there be a need for a Lottery, any resident of AADUSD will receive a weighted preference of 2x in the Lottery. Those who are not offered enrollment will be placed on the waiting list in the order of the Lottery results. Following the lottery, families will be notified of their enrollment status. Families who are offered enrollment must accept or decline enrollment by the specified date or enrollment will be forfeited. Students who were placed on the Wait List will be notified if/when space becomes available.
