Project Details
***Please keep in mind that project activities will be strenuous, including a challenging one-mile roundtrip hike from the camp to the site each day. The crew will carry equipment and samples to and from the site. If you are concerned about your ability to participate please contact us directly.

A project camp will be set up near the site. Please keep in mind that it will be a remote camp with no services, and there is a possibility we will be without cell coverage so plan accordingly. PCRG will provide all meals however, volunteers must bring personal camping gear such as tent, sleeping bag, etc. More details about camp and gear lists will be provided prior to the project.

June 3rd and June 11th are dedicated travel days for arrival and departure. Field work will begin on June 4th and run until June 10th. We ask that you plan on arriving at camp by 3pm on the 3rd. Due to the remote location, participants should plan on attending the entire length of the project. If for any reason you are unable to commit to the full nine days, please contact us to determine if participation is still possible.

To access the project camp high clearance and preferably 4wd vehicles are required (small suvs such as Escapes, CRVs will do fine). If your vehicle will be unable to reach the camp we can arrange a meet up area near camp to leave cars and carpool to the site. Will you need assistance reaching the camp area? *
If you have a vehicle that will make it to the site, are you willing to drive other volunteers from the meet up area if needed?
Are you able to participate for the entire length of the project? (June 3rd-June 11th) *
PCRG relies on volunteers for all of our projects. While no experience is required to participate, we like to have a good idea of the experience levels of our volunteers. In the space below please provide a brief description of any previous archaeological work. (again, no experience is ok!) *
