Ethiopian Women in Energy association (EWiEn) is hosting the 5th annual women in energy event 2025. Outstanding women in the Ethiopian energy sector will be honored and awarded! The achievements and contributions of these influential women leaders from the energy sector will be recognized and celebrated.

The women who are eligible for this award are women that are working in the Ethiopian energy sector, whether as an entrepreneur, employed in the private, CSO, NGO or public sector.

The nomination criteria for the EWiEn influential Women in Energy Award of the year is:

1. Excellence in professional career

2. Exemplary leadership qualities

3. Impact on the energy sector,

4. Impact on gender

5. Impact on the community

Only female nominees who work in the Ethiopian energy sector are eligible for nomination.

Members of the EWiEn executive committee are not eligible for nomination.
