Chris Ferris & Dancers is seeking several choreographers to share our performance at Ailey Studios, 405 W. 55th Street, NYC on Sat., Dec. 9 at 8:00PM and Sun., Dec. 10 at 2:00PM. This is in Ailey's top floor studio 6D, with floor to ceiling windows, and a lovely view.  There will be no theatrical lighting but there will be a sound/spacing tech on Fri., Dec. 8 between 2:00PM and 6:00PM.  You will be assigned a 20 min. slot. Your piece should be a maximum of 10 min.  Chris Ferris & Dancers will be showing our suite of works Seasonal Just In Time Excerpts: https://vimeo.com/767861049  There is no application fee.  Application deadline: Oct. 10 at 11:59PM.  If selected there will be a $200 participation fee which will help cover space rental. 

You will get:

*2 Performances Sat., Dec. 9 at 8:00PM and Sun., Dec. 10 at 2:00PM

*Sound Tech/Spacing rehearsal Fri. Dec. 8-you will receive a 20 min. slot between 2:00PM and 6:00PM

*Photographs of your work

*Video File of your work

*Holding room for back stage

*Social media event listings; post cards to distribute

What we need from you:

*1 dance with a maximum length of 10 minutes

*The piece must not be performed 2 months prior or after in the NYC area

*Publicize your show through social media, email, and word of mouth

*If you are selected you are requited to pay a $200 participation fee for acceptance
