SMB Year-Round Mentoring Program
The SMB Year-Round Mentoring Program promotes academic success among mathematical biologists at all career stages through the formation of small group networks. We have several types of mentoring groups:

1.  Writing Groups - a group of 4 people who exchange writing samples
2.  Accountability Groups - a group of 4 people who meet for goal-setting and mutual accountability
3.  Mentoring Pod - a group of ~5 people at different career stages who meet for mentoring
4.  Peer-Peer Match - 2 people at the same career stage who meet for academic accountability and support

This year we will be matching Mentoring Pods. (We will rotate in the future.) Groups are matched once per year for those in attendance at the SMB/ECMTB Annual Meeting. Apply to be matched into a Mentoring Pod by answering the questions below. Complete this form before 14:00 on Weds 15 July!

Why do you want to be in a Mentoring Pod?
A condition of this program is that you agree to provide us with your feedback at the end of the semester (~ Dec 2026) and/or the academic year (~ May 2027), so that we may learn from your experience to improve the program.  Do you agree to complete and reply to the feedback email you will receive in early December and/or May? *
