Thank you for your interest in volunteering at The Eddington. We're at the start of a very exciting journey developing the spaces at this community venue into a 'one stop shop' for sustainability - creating activities and events that inspire and support people to live greener, healthier lives.
We work closely with our partners, the charity South Lakes Action on Climate Change through the Waste into Wellbeing programme based in the hall and a growing number of organisations who hire out our spaces.
The Eddington Kendal Community Interest Company manages the venue and is now starting some exciting community projects.
Currently we are just 6 voluntary Directors and a part time Project Manager - we definitely need some help and we hope that is where YOU come in!
By completing this form, you are simply letting us know that you are interested in volunteering and how much time you might like to offer. We'll follow up either by email or phone and there'll be a chance to come along for a tour of the site, either as an individual or with a small group of other potential volunteers. This will be a chance to get to know the venue and each other.
